A. Overview

The Hong Kong Art Craft Merchants Association was established in November 26, 1968 in Hong Kong. It is a non-profit organization, will serve the social, promotion handicraft profession development, to bring honor to the Chinese culture as the objective, will provide the following service for the members.

1. The antique authentication service.

2. Runs and participates in everywhere related artware profession activities and each public welfare activity and so on auction of, seminar, subject talks.

3. Provides the handicraft market news, the arrangement related China handicraft promotion propaganda activity.

4. Take does not violate the law as the principle, should request the commercial dispute which mediates the member once in a while the member and the outside occurs.

B Joining rules

1. The age surpasses 21 year old of individual, in the Hong Kong and everywhere completely or company of, company, factory, mass organization the concurrently camp antique handicraft, only need observe originally meets the club rules, introduced by two members, by the council according to a chapter of authorization, then becomes originally meets the member.

2. The applicant must fill in the comp book to meet joins a society the request form, together with the identification card photolithographic edition, commercial registration photolithographic edition (merchant member must submission), one and hands over originally meets the secretariat to handle. As soon as joins a society the application by the authorization, this member must turn over in full the fund and the membership dues in 15 days.

3. Originally meets the member to divide into individual ordinary member, individual permanent member, company ordinary member, company permanent member four kinds. The applicant according to needs to choose its one.

C. Membership dues

1. Individual ordinary member fund HK$1,000, every year membership dues HK$200

2. Individual permanent member fund HK$2,000 , Entrance fee HK$1,000

3. Company ordinary member fund HK$2,000 , Every year membership dues HK$1,000

4. Company permanent member fund HK$3,000, Entrance fee HK$2,000

5. Individual permanent member and the company permanent members do not need to pay the year membership dues, individual ordinary member and the company ordinary members must pay the year membership dues in every year January.

6. The ordinary member wants to transfer the permanent member, must make up the fund and the entrance fee difference. Because the member draws back automatically meets or violates the club rules to dismiss the membership, its pays the fund, membership dues, donation and so on not to return generally.
